Olet’te Cayetana Pinot Noir is sourced from an exceptional 8.5-acre vineyard nestled within the Petaluma Gap AVA. The micro-climate of this vineyard is shaped by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean and its east-facing aspect. Drawing inspiration from the renowned Pinot Noir vineyards of Burgundy, where eastward-facing slopes are highly prized, this vineyard enjoys the advantage of capturing the morning sun. This early warmth and dryness during the critical ripening period creates a relatively cool temperature, providing an incredible advantage for cultivating delicate Pinot Noir.

To merely describe this Pinot Noir as extraordinary would be an understatement. When poured into a glass, it releases a rare and haunting fragrance of violets, intertwined with intoxicating aromas of vanilla, dark rose petals, savory maple bacon, and freshly cut grass. This well-balanced wine seamlessly combines forward notes of red cherry and black raspberry, leading to an elegant and lingering finish. The palate delights in an abundance of baking spices, accompanied by flavors reminiscent of cranberry sauce with hints of port, and candied cherry. All of this is supported by reserved, velvety tannins that will dance on your palate.
